Heinerscheid and Lieler are two well-known highland villages on a plateau 600ft above the valleys of the Clerve and Upper Our. There is an interesting mosaic at the Heinerscheid church, and a monument in honor of the sixth U.S. Armored Division. In Lieler's 14th century Gothic church there are some interesting frescos. A few kilometers away is the village of Kalborn. The area has some well-marked walking trails and picnic places. There is also a river bath and fishing in the Our and a monument, at the "Three Borders", dedicated to a united Europe.
