Grevenmacher Attractions
Grevenmacher is the capital of the Luxembourg Moselle and an important vine-growing, commercial and administrative center. There are visits to the cellars of the cooperative vine-growers and of the Caves Bernard-Massard. The town has small streets in the old town, the remains of medieval fortifications, a 13th century belfry, a sports hall, a regional sports ground, a heated open-air swimming pool and a fitness trail. A bridge links Grevenmacher with the German bank of the Moselle. Here there is a pedestrian zone and a tourist promenade, as well as an exotic butterfly garden and the dam and lock of the Moselle canal. Between Grevenmacher and Mertert there is a Moselle port.
Butterfly Garden
