Description
The Grand-Ducal Palace in Luxembourg is a Renaissance building in two parts. The old part dates from 1572 and the middle part from 1741-43 (Baroque; transformed into Renaissance style in 1891). Adjoining on the right is the Chamber of Deputies (1858-59). Nearby is the Fishmarket, a former Roman crossroads and the center of the old town.
