Colmar-Berg is located at the confluence of the rivers Attert and Alzette (pop. 1,400). The town has the Grand Ducal residence, the Goodyear tire plant (international research center, test circuit, other plants), a sports center with indoor swimming pool and tennis courts, and walking paths. The town is in a valley surrounded by extensive woods.
