Clervaux Tourist Attractions

The village of Clervaux is situated in the midst of the Ardennes, in a deep and narrow valley beside the river Clerve. The Benedictine Abbey of St Maurice and St Maur, built in 1910 in Romanesque-Burgundian style, dominates the valley. Inside there is an exhibition entitled "The Monastical Life." There are Gregorian masses and vespers are offered daily.
In the feudal castle (12th C.) there are exhibitions ("Models of Ancient Luxembourg Castles"), a photo collection ("The Family of Man") and a souvenir, documents, arms and uniforms collection from the Second World War.
The parish church was built of local stone in Rhenish-Romanesque style in 1910. There are various historical monuments and neighborhood churches (Munshausen, Hachiville), whose architecture, furnishings and frescos are notable. There are 85km of well-marked footpaths and an 18-hole golf course. The town also has an all-weather swimming pool and two fishing ponds.

Battle of the Bulge Museum

The Battle of the Bulge Museum in Clervaux is located in a 12th C. feudal castle and has several exhibitions: "Models of the Ancient Luxembourg Castles", a photo collection "The Family of Man", and "Souvenirs, documents, arms and uniforms of World War Two". It is closed in January and February.

The Toys Museum in Clervaux is open year round. The museum shows metal toys, model railways, dolls and doll's houses, rocking horses, steam engines, and tin figurines.
