Luquillo - Luquillo Beach Playa de Luquillo

Luquillo beach (Playa de Luquillo) is considered by many to be one of the finest beaches in Puerto Rico. In reality it is one of the best beaches within close proximity to San Juan and can be visited as a day trip from the city. It is a great option for visitors looking to escape the city and experience a less populated beach then those of Isla Verde. However, during the summer weekends be prepared, it is often very busy.

Luquillo beach has food stands and all the regular facilities and is also patrolled for added security.
