Los Angeles - Wilshire Boulevard

Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles has a number of attractions including the museums on the Miracle Mile.

The architectural highlight is 3050 Wilshire Boulevard named after social reformer Gaylord Wilshire and used to be the elegant Bullcoks-Wilshire shopping emporium. The art deco, 240-foot-high building served as a beacon for many pedestrians upon the stylish boulevard. After looting in the 1992 L.A. riots, its corporate owners closed down the department store. The building was saved recently when Southwestern University turned it into its new law school.
