Description
This house, commissioned by Louis Bradbury in 1893 and today used as offices, has been a listed building since 1962. From the outside it appears quite plain. The interior, however, is a surprise with its open staircases and an interior courtyard of four storeys lit from above, thus illuminating the richly decorated wrought-iron banisters and beautiful wood paneling. A lift, the oldest of its kind in Los Angeles, is still in use.
