Lorton - Historic Pohick Church

The Historic Pohick Church is located in Lorton and will be familiar to those interested in the life and times of George Washington. He served as a vestryman here for 23 years. The church is still in active service and visitors to the parish are most welcome. The Pohick Church was built in 1774 and has had an interesting life at one point serving as a stable for Civil War troops.
