Lorca - Plaza Mayor (Plaza de España)

Around the Plaza Mayor, in the center of Lorca, are a number of handsome Baroque buildings, including the Court-House and Town Hall (Casa Consistorial; 17th-18th C.), which contains large paintings of battle scenes by Miguel Muñoz (1723) and a display of captured Arab flags. From the square it is a pleasant walk up to the Castillo.
