Locarno - Driving tour into Val Verzasca
This driving tour into the Val Verzasca (30km/19mi) to Sonogno has reasonably good road, but many bends; its attraction lies in the beauty of this remote and secluded Ticenese valley with its Italian-style houses and churches, many of them with campaniles; good footpaths. Leave on the Bellinzona road. 4km/2mi: Tenero on the west bank of the Verzasca. From Tenero it is 1km/ 0.6mi to Gordola.
