Leyden - Eva van Hoogeveenhofje

In Doelensteeg, a side street opening off the Rapenburggracht, is the 17th century Eva van Hoogeveenhofje (No. 7), perhaps the finest of Leiden's hofjes, with an attractive facade, patterned brick paving and an old water-pump. Visitors can see the Regents' Room (side entrance on the Doelengracht).
