Zwaanendael Museum Description
The Zwaanendael Museum presents the history of Sussex County, particularly as it relates to the Delaware's southeastern coast. "Lewes: The First Town in the First State" is presented on the first floor of the museum which was re-opened in 2006. On the second floor is the "Rediscovery through Recovery: Roosevelt Inlet Shipwreck Site" which deals with maritime archaeology.
