Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer - Gypsy Pilgrimage

(Local Name: Pélerinage des Gitans) Pélerinage des Gitans is an annual three-day festival in late May in the town associated with Sarah, the patron saint of the gypsies. Songs and dances carry on throughout the three days, but the highlight is the parade of the statue of Sarah from the local church around the town.
