Leoben - Mushroom Tower and New Town Hall

(Local Name: Schwammerlturm and Neues Rathaus) The Leoben Mautturm (Toll Tower), popularly known as the Schwammerlturm ("Mushroom Tower"), was built by P. Carlone in 1615; the nearby Municipal Theater dates from 1790. A little way north of the bridge, on the right bank of the Mur, stands the Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall).
