Schin Gorge / Lenz

A by-road runs southwest from Lenzerheide to Zorten and down into the wild Schin gorge on the River Albula.

The main road runs south, past the golf course, a camping-site and the Bual nature park, to Lantsch or Lenz (1,320 m/4,331ft), with a church dedicated to the Virgin (1505). 2km/1mi beyond Lantsch, below the road on the right, we see the farm of Vazerol (1,130 m/3,708ft), where the three Rhaetian leagues agreed to unite in 1471.
