Auerbach's Cellar
In the Mädlerpassage in Leipzig are steps leading down to Auerbachs Keller, in which Mephistopheles practised his magic arts in Goethe's "Faust". At the head of the steps is a sculpture by M. Molitor (1913) depicting the figures in the cellar scene.
