The shipping company of the Lake of the Four Forest Cantons (Lake Lucerne) has a large fleet of nostalgic paddle-wheel steamers in which you can visit well-known holiday spots and historic sites dating from the foundation time of the Swiss Federation around the lake.

Special attractions: Midday and evening trips with Folklore and dancing. Wilhelm Tell Express: You travel by steamer from Lucerne to Flüelen; and here you change into the train (saloon cars) to Lugano/Locarno. The connection can be made daily in both directions from May to October.

Special attractions in winter: Every Friday at 7 p.m. a fondue ship operates; New Year cruises with a gala dinner or a Spaghetti fiesta. During the winter season there are several regular services daily between Lucerne and Brunnen.
