Labin - Town Museum
The Labin Town Museum is housed in the 18th Century Baroque Lazzarini Palace located on the Stari Trg square. The museum pays tribute to Labin's coal mining history with a completely reconstructed coal mine. Labin was once Croatia's primary coal mining town up until the late 1990s. The Town Museum offers a unique insight into the lives of the coal miners. It also contains a number of archeological pieces from Neolithic times to the middle ages. The museum is a good way to spend an hour if you are in Labin but is probably not worth a special trip.
