(Local Name: Trophée d'Auguste) The Alpine Trophy is a Roman monument that stands 35 m tall on a square base with an inscription to Augustus Caesar and a list of 44 conquered peoples. The trophy originally stood 49 meters high with a giant statue of the Emperor.
