La Crosse - Barbed Wire Museum

The Barbed Wire Museum in La Crosse highlights the history of the invention of barbed wire and how itimpacted the settlement of the midwest from the late 19th century to the present. Displays include more than 2,400 varieties of barbed wire as well as a variety of the tools used inmanufacturing, installing, and maintaining barbed wire fences.
