Tembe Elephant Reserve Description

Bordering Ndumu Game Reserve on the east is the Tembe Elephant Reserve, home to 220 elephants. It can be seen only on conducted tours; the numbers of visitors are restricted.

The reserve is also home to the "Big Five" which includes lion, leopard, black rhino, white rhino and buffalo. There are also over 340 species of birds.
