The Museum took its name from two major types of swords: the cutting sword, used to slash an enemy, and the thrusting sword, used to "stick them". Weaponry dating back as far as 2,000 B.C. is displayed including swords, daggers, crossbows, battle axes, and other edged weapons, as well as old firearms.
