Susan Hoi

One of the major sights of this region is the shell cemetery at Susan Hoi, 8 km (5 mi.) further east on Route 4203/4204. Visible only at low tide, the giant slabs, 75 million years old, are the graveyard of fossilized freshwater snail shells. This is one of only three such sites in the world (there is another one in the US).
