Mishkal Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Kozhikode. The four storied structure is supported by wooden pillars with a gabled roof. Built in traditional Keralan style, Mishkal Mosque was partially burned by the Portugese in 1510. Charred portions of the mosque still remain and most of the original building.
