Crater Lake Game Sanctuary

Crater Lake is a green soda lake at the bottom of an extinct volcano. The volcanic crater is home to Colobus monkeys and flamingos.

A nature trail leads through the vegetation around the crater with plenty of wildlife including over 170 species of birds. Other activities include boating on the lake, stargazing, crater rim tours and horseback riding.

Must-see attractions nearby:
The famous hilltop grave where Lady Diana Delamere is buried with her last two husbands, Gilbert Colvile and Thomas Delamere is within Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. A tented camp site and luxury resort are also found within the 10,000 acres.

Crescent Lake, on the eastern side of Crater Lake, is a bird sanctuary.
