Kamphaeng Phet National Museum

On the other side of the bridge the new town is on the right and the walled precinct of the old town, still with parts of earth ramparts once 6 m (20 ft) high, is on the left. Anyone who has not yet been to Sukhothai should first visit the museum quite close to the ruins. This contains a large collection of finds from Kamphaeng Phet, many of them showing the harmony and elegance which characterized the style of the Sukhotai period.
