Kalispell (pop. 14,000) is located in Flathead Valley between Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake in northwest Montana. The town was created by moving residents from Demersville and Ashley. Recreational opportunities include fly fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking and sailing.
