Johnstown Flood Museum
The Johnstown Flood Museum details the catastrophic flood of 1889 that ripped through Conemaugh Valley. An award-winning film, a large 3-D map, sound effects and other exhibits are on display. A notable permanent exhibit is an "Oklahoma" house, a temporary shelter erected for those who had lost their homes. The Oklahoma was renovated, and includes home furnishings and domestic items.
