Jersey is the home of high cliffs, rocky inlets and caves with footpaths to discover the island. The principal tourist sight in Jersey is La Hougue Bie, a large burial mound topped by two chapels. Mont Orgueil Castle is a splendid example of medieval military engineering; the German Underground Hospital makes for an interesting tourist attraction.
