Japan - Southern Region

The Southern region is home to 15 million people with an industrial zone as well as rice cultivation and fruit orchards. There are many volcanoes, with areas near volcanoes made into national parks, and many hot springs. Okinawa has a subtropical climate that supports the cultivation of pineapples and other produce. It is also surrounded by coral reefs.
