Ják - St James' Chapel
Opposite the west front of the church, on a quartered ground plan, stands the small, two-story St James' Chapel, built c 1260. It served the local community as a parish church where baptisms, weddings and funeral services were performed, these not being allowed in the main church. The rounded decorations on the double-windows of the upper floor complement the motifs on the windows of the abbey church.
