Museum of Southern History Description
The Museum of Southern History contains exhibits related to life in the American South. The museum was founded in 1975 by the Kirby Smith Camp No. 1209, Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV). Artifacts and memorabilia relating to politics, fashion, culture and science are on display along with relics, uniforms, personal items, weapons, flags, and more. Visitors to the Museum of Southern History can also trace their roots in the 4,000 volume research library.
