Cesena, Italy
On Via Emilia, in the triangular area between Revenna, Forli and Rimini, lies the walled town of Cesena (40m/131ft; pop. 90,000). Note the famous Biblioteca Malatestiana (1452), the Gothic cathedral (15th century) and, built on a hill, the Rocca Malatestiana, a largely rebuilt 14th/15th century fortification.
