Location

Situated on the eastern slope of Mount Etna, the little fishing town of Aci Castello is one of the most popular holidays resorts in the region. It is dominated by a Norman castle which was built in 1076 but has been restored on several occasions. The castle is perched on a basalt rock overlooking the harbor.
