The magnificent Ironbridge Gorge Museum is reached by following the B4380 east of Shrewsbury through the Severn Valley for 13mi/21km.

A row of notable museums detailing the Industrial Age now stand here. These include the former warehouses of the Coalbrookdale Company; the Tollhouse, which explains the building of the bridge; Coalport China Museum, with its displays on the production of china up until 1930.
