Iowa - East Central Region

Iowa's East Central Region features Quaker homes that were major stops on the Underground Railroad, organized by abolitionists - many of them free blacks and Quakers. Visitors can search for fossils, visit art museums and observe crafts and cultures at the Amana Colonies.
