Boone Attractions

This restored Victorian home in Boone was the Birthplace of First Lady, Mamie Doud Eisenhower, wife of Dwight D Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States. Exhibits feature her life and family history. Mamie's 1962 Plymouth Valiant and 1949 Chrysler Windsor are also on display.

Passengers on the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad travel in vintage railroad cars on a 15mi/24km round-trip through the Des Moines River Valley.
