Description
(Local Name: Tiroler Landeskundliches Museum) Further east of Innsbruck's Tirolese Provincial Museum, on the banks of the Sill, stands the old Arsenal (Alte Zeughaus), now occupied by the Tirolese Regional Museum, a museum of cultural and natural history covering a very wide field, including mineralogy, mining, coining, cartography, hunting, technology, etc. There is also a collection of clocks and musical instruments, as well as an exhibition on the story of the Tirolese struggle for liberation in 1809.
