White River State Park is a great place to escape from the fast pace of the city. Once in the park, you would be hard pressed to believe that you are in downtown Indianapolis. Medal of Honor Memorial
The Medal of Honor Memorial pays tribute to the men and women who have been recipients of the Medal of Honor. Twenty-seven glass walls are etched with the names of recipients, at dusk the walls are illuminated.
