Franklin is home to the Johnson County Museum of History. Here visitors will find all manner of items related to the local area. The Johnson County Museum of History has several galleries that feature a rotation of exhibits, an education center, a research library and a fine gift shop. The museum has been in operation since 1967 and is staffed by volunteers.
