Gandhi National Memorial (Aga Khan Palace)
The Aga Khan Palace is an historical landmark. Mahatma Gandhi delivered his Quit India speech here in 1942 and the British promptly imprisoned him along with his wife and secretary.
Gandhi's wife, Kasturba and his secretary for 35 years, Madoebhai Desai both died while imprisoned. Their ashes are kept on the grounds in memorial shrines.
The palace is a memorial to Gandhi, his life is presented in a photo and painting exhibit. Details of his triumphs and personal tragedies are conveyed during his period of imprisonment.

Osho Meditiation Resort
The Osho Meditation Resort dates back to 1974 when Bhagwan Rajneesh founded this location as an ashram. In 1981, Rajneesh left Pune to set up Rajneeshpuram in Oregon. He was expelled from the US in 1987 and returned to Pune. In all this time he developed a great following - 750 centers in 80 countries.
