Carmi Attractions
Carmi relies on farming and stock raising, it is also the center of an oil-producing area. Carmi is located along the Little Wabash River and is the seat of White County.
L. Haas Store Museum
The L. Haas Store Museum is housed in the store, built 1896. It features Native American artifacts, tools, photographs and vintage clothing. The hanging tools of Phil Hanna, "the hangman", who presided over many early 20th century executions are on display.
Robinson-Stewart House
The 1814 Robinson-Stewart House has many furnishings which date to the 1830s, including a desk originally used in the Ratcliff Inn at which Lincoln might have worked during his stay at the Inn.
