Rupert, Idaho Tourism

Over 28 species of waterfowl use the Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is located on the Snake River Plain in south-central Idaho, 12mi/19km northeast of Rupert (pop. 5,650). Birds most commonly seen are the Canada goose, mallard, pintail, redhead, gadwall, and wigeon. Tundra swans can be seen as they migrate through in the spring
