Abbey of the Holy Trinity Description
The Abbey of the Holy Trinity in Huntsville is a Cistercian monastery that was founded in 1947. The 34 resident monks belong to the Order of the Cistercian of the Strict Observance, sometimes called the Trappists. They raise beef cattle, keep bees, and sell homemade bread. There is also a retreat house that has room for twelve. It is open to men only.
