Parque Nacional de Ordesa / Monte

From Biescas a detour can be made on C 140, which runs east over the Puerto de Cotefablo (1,423m/4,669ft) to Torla and, beyond this, the magnificent Parque Nacional de Ordesa (1,320m/4,331ft), an area of rich and varied vegetation with numerous gorges, waterfalls, etc., in the valley of the Río de Ordesa below Monte Perdido (3,352m/10,998ft). This is splendid walking and climbing country.
