Gargantas de Escalar

15km/9mi from Biescas a road branches off on the right and runs northeast through the narrow Gargantas de Escalar to the spa of Balneario de Panticosa (alt. 1,659m/5,443ft; radioactive sulfurous water), magnificently situated on a lake in a rocky cirque.
