From the Zaouia of Sidi Brahim in Houmt-Souk, Avenue Abdel Hamid el Khadi runs northeast. 500m/550yds along this street, on the left (just before the Hotel School), is an interesting little folk museum, the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires (Musée ATP for short), which has been housed since 1968 in the 18th century Zaouia of Sidi Zitouni. The former prayer hall now contains a colorful display of traditional costumes. Other exhibits include beautiful old jewelry, a potter's workshop, fine pottery, kitchen equipment and old marriage chests. One small room is devoted to old editions of the Koran. The zaouia has very beautiful stalactitic ceilings.
