E.C. Manning Provincial Park

Manning Provincial Park, about 25 km (16 mi.) from Hope, was opened in 1941, and covers more than 714 sq. km (276 sq. mi.) of magnificent mountain scenery. It is characterized by jagged mountain peaks over 2000 m (6500 ft) high, deep valleys, and thickly wooded slopes, making it the northern continuation of the North Cascades National Park in the USA.

While in Manning Provincial Park it is well worth driving up to Cascade Lookout with its magnificent view of the Similkameen Valley and the surrounding 2000 m (6500 ft) mountain peaks.
