Honolulu - Kawaiahao Church
The coral-block Kawaiahao Church was completed in 1842 and was the site of some royal coronations and legislative meetings. King Lunalilo is buried here since this was the chapel for Hawaiian royalty. The tower clock was installed in 1850 and still operates on the original machinery.
A missionaries church yard, containing the graves of many of Oahu's missionaries, lies behind the Kawaiahao church yard.

Adobe Schoolhouse
The Adobe Schoolhouse was built seven years before the Kawaiahao Church in 1835 from adobe (hardened lime). The Oahu Charity School was first accommodated here, then a kindergarten, the Hawaiian Bible Society and the Kawaiahao Sunday School. Today, the 157-year-old building is used as a day nursery.
